Enrollment open for Four-H Clubs in Santa Barbara County

Four-H Clubs enrollment is open through December 1 for youths in fourth grade or nine by January 1 1973. County advisor Josephine Van Schaick invites volunteers 18 or older to help with a wide range of projects from agriculture to home economics and mechanical science, with contact numbers in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara.

Governor signs bill to guide city county general plans

Senator Robert J. Lagomarsino promotes SB 1324 creating state guidelines for city and county general plan elements such as land use housing and open space.
