Federal prisoners seize guards at minimum security ward
Last night at the Federal Correctional Institution a group of hardened inmates armed with homemade shivs and crude bludgeons seized control of the disciplinary cellblock. Warden Frank Kenton said two guards were held for more than two hours and the incident is being prepared for the U.S. Attorney's Office. About 50 inmates reside in the block. exact participation remains unclear.

Inflation shows signs of easing but prices remain high
Inflation is winding down from its worst level in two decades.
