Angela Davis Vehicle Found Sparks Citywide Search
A 1959 Rambler tied to Angela Davis was found outside a Black Panther member's home in Los Angeles prompting an intensive search for the California murder suspect. Davis, a self described Communist, was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted list earlier the same day on a court affidavit alleging she purchased all four guns used in San Rafael.

Nixon asks treaty ban on gas use
President Nixon urged the Senate to ratify the 1925 Geneva protocol banning wartime poison gas and germ weapons. He said napalm chemical defoliants tear gas and flamethrowers would not be banned. He sent the request nearly nine months after revealing plans to seek ratification amid debate over tear gas defoliants napalm and Vietnam use.
