Advisory Committee rejects proposed four lane highway plan
Santa Ynez Valley Advisory Committee reviewed maps showing four lane projections on Alamo Pintado Road Refugio Road Baseline Avenue and Highway 246 through Solvang and a bypass to the south. The full panel unanimously rejected the bypass route and endorsed blocking four lane development while pressing subcommittees to refine the plan with October as a potential completion target. A July schedule set meetings on Aug 23 and Aug 28 to discuss map impacts and park guidance.
