Orcutt tops Hawthorne National in Middle League action

In Santa Maria California Orcutt defeated Hawthorne National 2-1 while Delta of Los Angeles beat East San Jose 5-3 in winners bracket play of the California Middle League. Victor Valley handled Milpitas 10-4 and Inyo Mono Bishop defeated South Whittier 8-2. San Jose routed Victor Valley 10-1 and Hawthorne American blanked Inyo Mono 10-0 as losers were eliminated in the double elimination tourney.
