Water districts seek 4509 acre feet in borrowing plan
The County Water Agency urged the U S Bureau of Reclamation to allow three South Coast districts to borrow 4509 acre feet of Cachuma water to avert possible summer or fall shortages amid population growth and drought like conditions. Carpinteria agrees to the plan but seeks simpler approval methods.
