VAFB Sergeant Killed in Head-On Highway 154 Crash
A technical sergeant stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base died in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and car on Highway 154 east of Armour Ranch Road. The rider Jensen and his wife were injured, with Mrs. Jensen admitted for a leg injury and to be transferred to Santa Barbara Hospital. The sergeant’s name awaits next of kin notification. Two other local accidents on 154 left one driver with minor injuries and a passenger with a serious hand injury, while a bicyclist near Ocean Avenue was treated and released.
