Nixon may delay ABM deployment despite Senate victory

Santa Maria woman, 4-year-old found after Sequoia Park search

Mrs. Mary Ann Corcoran, 25, and her daughter Beverly were missing since Sunday in Sequoia National Park and located late Wednesday about five miles from their car. Corcoran suffered dehydration while Beverly was reported in good condition. A Miramonte Conservation Camp crew and a park ranger found them.

Peace talks stalemated as Viet Cong refuse peace terms

In Paris the Viet Cong rejected U S and South Vietnamese proposals at the 29th session. Mme Nguyen Thi Binh called for withdrawal of all U S and allied forces and for the end of support for the Thieu government. The U S chief negotiator Henry Cabot Lodge suggested a basis for talks, but the Communists maintained a hard line.
