Lompoc Arts Week Showcases Local Talent and Theater

When the swallows come back to Lompoc

Naturalists describe cliff swallows at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc Valley. Mason notes nests under mission buildings and in local barns as birds migrate from Mexico and South America. Nests shed by winter rains, with young fledging after about four weeks, then depart in late September.
