Three hurt in weekend traffic crashes report

Three people were injured in three separate weekend accidents. Ernest William Russell Jr. 17 of Los Alamos fractured his left thigh when his car veered off Lompoc Casmalia Road and burned. Eleanor June Ahern 30 of Buellton suffered neck injuries and contusions on Highway 246 after a rollover. James Eugene Turri 35 of Lompoc had chest bruises when his car collided with Michael Ralph McRoberts 21 on West Ocean Avenue. All were treated at Lompoc Hospital.

United Technology Center of Sunnyvale conducted a near perfect static firing test of the massive MOL booster at the Coyote Test Center near San Jose. Navy reduces Korean task force after reconnaissance losses

The Defense Department reports 21 of 29 ships in the Korean area naval task force were detached. Egypt charges Israel with opening tank and small arms fire along the entire 103 mile Suez Canal and reports a high degree of danger to UN observers. Israeli forces clash with Jordanian troops in the Jordan River Valley, while Arab commandos near the Syrian border reportedly wreck a bus killing one Israeli and wounding several others.
