Local chess clubs host first all member championship win
Lompoc Valley Chess Club member Ken Horne won the clubs first all member championship by going undefeated in a four round Swiss. Other locals including Cabrillo star Jay Spowart plan to compete in the Santa Barbara Chess Club open tournament April 21 to 23. Entry fees for adults 10 and juniors 5. USCF membership required.
