LAFCO Approves Crestview Ditch Annexation to Lompoc
The Local Agency Formation Commission voted to annex the Crestview Drainage Ditch to the city of Lompoc. The ditch, about 0.85 to 1 acre, lies south of Ocean Avenue and west of State Highway 1, and is currently taxed by the county. City officials note the tax is minimal but paperwork costs are higher at City Hall.
