Five Die In Head On Crash Near Lafayette Ohio
Five of six Springfield residents perished in a head on collision with a semi truck two miles west of Lafayette in Madison County. Cecil Rice 38 Florence V Archie 33 and Martha Lowery 25 were named among the dead. Benjamin Rice 35 survived in serious condition with injuries. The truck driver George H McClure 29 of Columbus was also seriously hurt. The truck outfit was owned by Commer.
