No Priorities Involved In Lake Project
The Clear Fork Lake development won approval from the Ohio Conservation Commission and may start before year end. Congressman Walter E. Brehm said work could commence soon after land is acquired and prints are completed. A $50,000 appropriation was approved for land acquisition in the upper Clear Fork valley near Route 664 bridge. The project will be Ohio driven with land acquisition by the Division of Conservation and dam construction by the State Highway Department. The lake will cover about 400 acres, roughly four times Lake Hope, with a main length near 760 contour.
