Charles Gordon Bowen 70, longtime Logan banker died Wednesday in Saluda North Carolina. He was president of Logan First National Bank 1927 31 later led First Rempel National Bank and worked 20 years for Standard Oil before retiring in 1951. He leaves a wife two sons four sisters a brother and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday in Hendersonville with burial there.
