Reported late figures show the U S military stockpile 2800 B-29 bombers to back the Western Union in Europe. The State Department is said to oppose treaty backed support, while a dispersal chart outlines the higher force distribution.
Fifty five jurors were drawn Saturday morning by Jury Commissioners Nelson DeLong and Dan Langley with Sheriff Floyd Duffy. The 15 grand jurors, 20 petit jurors, and 20 alternates will convene at 10 A M on October 4. Names listed include Fred Conger Glouster and many others from Murray City Logan Union Furnace and surrounding towns.
Cyrus E. Harold Sorrels a 15 year old of Murray City was treated by a Nelsonville physician for gunshot wounds after an hunting accident near Murray City He was accidentally shot by his uncle Charles Sorrels of Barberton who fired while they hunted about 30 pellets were removed from his body and arms
