Hunter in Critical Condition After Local Accident
John W. Wade Jr. 30 of Buchtel remains in critical condition at Hocking Valley Hospital after a hunting accident near Buchtel Friday night. Wade was shot in the abdomen and groin by Kenneth Graham, also of Buchtel, who aided him to safety and arranged ambulance transport to Logan hospital. Wade is employed by the Williams Brooks Shoe Co. in Nelsonville.

Gallipolis Youth Killed by Train

General Electric Raises Appliance Prices Nationwide
General Electric Co. announced price hikes on several home appliances spanning 2.3 to 8.8 percent. Marketing manager C. R.
