Distribution of draft registration forms began today with master copies of the first four blanks speeding by airmail to all 48 states for printing. The early shipments mark the start of a 64 form series to be reproduced for national use.
Logan Chamber of Commerce directors unveil a revised plan to focus manager duties on securing new industries and aiding current ones. The four key areas include attracting a sizeable local lake project, supporting civic initiatives, and expanding employment, with dues remaining quarterly for the rest of the year.

A mushroom dinner party at the home of 56 year old Joseph Ruff in Ravenna Ohio left him dead yesterday. Harold V Siegfried 30 a guest died Tuesday. Two other male guests were reported recovering.
Cincinnati September 19 Peter J Faulkner 71 retired Federal Reserve Bank attache and brother of the late James W Faulkner died after a month long illness He was a longtime hospital patient prior to death.
John W. Lake of H. C. Godman Co announced in Columbus that negotiations for leasing Shaw Manufacturing Co. building in South Logan to expand shoe making are near completion. A Logan visit is planned and Lancaster resumption is unlikely for now. The Logan Chamber and Lancaster officials commented on the talks.

The trio left Roseville to inspect trot lines and were last seen Tuesday night. The two bodies were found within feet of trot lines about six hours after their boat was found snagged downstream.
