General Tel Cabins Complaints Over Strike Settlement

Logan High School Marching Chiefs and visiting Hilliard band performed standout pre game and halftime shows at the Logan Hilliard football clash. The Logan band featured majorettes and a medley of National Emblem and This Is My Country plus Fight Song and Alma Mater as Boy Scout Troop 99 carried the flag. The Hilliards saluted with their fight song as the teams formed a large H and the tunnel decked LHS. Big Program Set Tonight As Hocking Fair Closes
The 1973 Hocking County Fair ends its five day run with a large finale crowd expected. Demolition derby at 8 p.m. junior live stock sale at 7 p.m. Harness racing began at 1 p.m. Friday attendance surpassed 5 000 with daytime Youth Day drawing many. Paid gate total 2 149 vs 2 424 last year. Parade on Wheels held at 9 a.m. with Modern Mothers Club judging. Scouting exhibits drew about 2 000 children crossing a rope bridge. Pony pulling drew a large crowd and winners included Schlarb Bros and Eugene Mahoney among others. 4-H and Open Class judging awarded top honors to Laura Davie, Bill Horwell, and Linda Shriner, with dairy star Richard Ogle and Kathy McDaniel among winners.
