Pick Site For New High School In Logan District
A 100 acre tract on the Homer Armstrong farm near Maysville Williams Road was chosen as the site for a proposed Logan High School. Superintendent Kenneth Warling announced after a Logan school board work session. The property lies east of Logan about four tenths of a mile north of Hocking Drive and the old Rt 33 near the former Lockheed plant. A $4.9 million bond issue would appear on the November 6 ballot for constructing a new four year high school and renovating district buildings.
