Former Logan Pastor Dr. W N Shank Dies at 71
Word arrives of the death of Dr. Willoughby N. Shank age 71, former pastor of Logan First M E Church, who died Saturday night at his Perrysburg home from heart disease. He had attended the Ohio Methodist conference at Delaware last week and had shown good health before illness. He had submitted retirement papers to conference officers prior to his illness. He previously served pastorates in Ada and Logan.

Columbus Man Dies in Crash Near Sugar Grove
Oliver F. Beavers, 31, of Columbus, died after his car hit a culvert on U S Route 33 near Sugar Grove in Fairfield County. He suffered a broken neck and was pronounced dead at Cherrington Hospital after being transported from the scene. His wife Sophia and another couple were treated for minor injuries. Beavers, a Pike County native, is survived by his widow, his parents, five brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 P M Tuesday at Schoedinger and Company chapel.
