Judge rules Moore ineligible for prosecutor ballot
Judge Harley Meyer upheld the Hocking County election board decision that Forrest P. Moore’s name will not appear on the November ballot as the Democrat nominee for prosecuting attorney. Moore has 20 days to appeal. the ruling cites that Moore voted in the May 3 1960 Republican primary and thus did not meet the four calendar years eligibility. Neal Dillon remains the unopposed Republican candidate.
