A special grand jury in Athens Ohio began deliberations to probe Ohio Universitys insurance banking and real estate transactions. Dr Peter Yaw son of Dr and Mrs Owen F Yaw of Logan is named associate professor of general and thoracic surgery at Marion County General Hospital in Indianapolis and associate professor of general surgery at University of Indiana Hospitals Group. The post includes private practice and teaching duties. He and his wife Marlene and two daughters Becky and Michelle visited in Logan during Labor Day weekend and plan to move to Indianapolis after completing residency and board qualifications at Cincinnati General Hospital.
