Chillicothe Girl Dies in Bus Collision on Narrow Bridge

A charge of assault with intent to maim was filed today against G A Hughes of Columbus Ohio an international representative in Ohio of the Dairy Bakery and Food Workers Union CIO. A 23 year old Chester Ohio minister, Clarence W Boyle, was arrested by city police after a collision at East Main and South Mulberry Streets near the station. He faces a reckless operation charge. Also charged with reckless operation was 22 year old Lancaster student Carl L Rice. Police say the drivers raced about 50 miles per hour and sideswiped at the intersection. No injuries occurred.

Kaiser Leases Newark Factory in 10 Year Pact
War Assets Officials said Henry Kaiser’s Permanente Metals will lease the 36 building Newark site of 300 acres from the War Assets Administration for ten years with a renewal option.
