Adolph Gompf 79 Dies in Hocking County Crash
Adolph V Gompf 79 died on arrival at Hocking Valley Hospital after a car truck crash on Rt 93S in front of his home at 5 30 PM Wednesday. Virgil F Nelson 47 driver of the truck from Newark was unable to avoid the collision. Gompf was a lifelong resident of the area and long involved in local business and farming. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
