British racer hails new own land speed record at Bonneville

Shoe Worker Suffers Jaw Injury in Elevator Mishap

Funeral services were held at St. John Lutheran Church at 2 p m for Albert Hildebrandt Jr age 4 son of Mr and Mrs Albert Hildebrandt of near Enterprise one of two Hocking County residents killed in an intersection accident in Columbus just before 11 o clock Friday night. Rites for the other victim Ray Vancuren 41 proprietor of Vans Radio Shop and Newsstand and the Third St grocery Logan were held Monday at Enterprise where Vancuren made his home. Five other persons were hurt in the crash which occurred when the Vancuren car occupied by the local party returning from the Ohio State fair struck another auto at the corner.

Seated Murray City Man Ends Life in Home
George Boling 56 of Murray City killed himself with a 16 gauge shotgun while seated in a rocking chair at his home.
