Charles Davis aged 19 of Logan Route 1 was sentenced to an indeterminate term at Mansfield Reformatory by Judge Harley Meyer after pleading guilty to the May 20 theft of $2,000 from his grandmother Lizzie Davis of Washington Township. He was arraigned July 18, waived grand jury and jury trial rights, and was returned to Hocking County after being captured in Kansas. He must be sent to Mansfield Reformatory within five days.
