Logan voters decide on a 4.9 million bond to build a new four year high school on the Homer Armstrong farm near Maysville Williams Road east of Logan. If approved the bond runs 24 years at 5.5 mills and the Hilltop junior-senior high would become a middle school.

Preparations for the 3rd annual Powder Puff game at Logan High School include a senior vs junior girls grid battle at 7 30 p m on Thursday November 15 at the LHS athletic field. Senior coach Dick Erb seeks a third straight win with aides Scaparrotti and Kazee while Garnett Jones coaches the juniors with Kemper and Moder assisting. Balloting for the Powder Puff King funds the junior senior prom. Admission is 25 cents for students and 50 cents for adults.
