Four Young People Injured In Crash Near Enterprise
Four youths ages 19 to 21 were seriously injured in a one car crash at 2 05 a m on old Rt 33 north of Enterprise school. Driver Robert Lee Daubenmier 19 was listed in good condition at Doctors Hospital Columbus with fractures and brain injuries in Debbie Rider 21 of Lancaster listed in critical condition at University Hospital Columbus. Danny Engle 20 and S T Swann Jr 21 both of Logan Rt 2 were treated at Hocking Valley Community Hospital with a fair night. The car left the road in a left curve at high speed, rolled over and hit a utility pole leaving four thrown from the wrecked vehicle. A preliminary report said Rider may have been killed instantly. Enterprise Bridge Repairs Slated Monday
County bridge crews will begin repairs Monday morning on both ends of the two cement bridges on old Rt. 33 at Enterprise. One lane of traffic will be maintained, controlled by traffic lights.

Gary Tucker Receives Purple Heart for Vietnam Wounds
Raymond Gary Tucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tucker, 543 E. Second St., was awarded the Purple Heart for shrapnel wounds suffered in Vietnam on April 2. He serves with the 25th Infantry, stationed at Dia Tang northwest of Saigon. A 1966 Logan High School graduate, he entered the Army in March 1967 and has been in Vietnam since January 13. He previously worked at the Carborundum plant. His wife Karen Linton lives with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Linton, at Gore Route 1, during his overseas assignment.
