Fire Chief Denies Limaite's Claim

Passau Germany yesterday fire chief Willie Osterkorn said an excited woman, not James M Leech of Lima Ohio, summoned the fire department to the villa where three US Army officers were slain in January 1946. Leech told reporters in Lima he went to the fire station in his car. He has been accused by Deputy Prosecutor William Canfield of the ax arson killings of three fellow officers. Canfield said Leech did not find the fire station and went to a military police headquarters.
