The Hocking Valley Community Hospital trustees voted unanimously Monday night not to seek renewal of the 6 mill operating levy due to expire in December. They discussed a fund raising drive instead to avoid further taxpayer burden and appreciated past support.
Former U S ambassador William B. Saxbe says he will not seek the Republican nomination for Ohio governor in 1978 even if Governor Rhodes retires. He calls the office a housekeeping job and says retirement suits him, ruling out a landing in the race despite party pressure.
