Driver Jailed After Crash On Rt 33
A Trimble man, Louis Vickers, 33, is jailed awaiting hearing before Mayor Francis Myers on charges of leaving the scene and unsafe driving after a hit-and-run on Route 33 north of Logan at 6 10 p m Friday. Alva McBride, 19, Logan, was the other driver. The state highway patrol reported the rear impact occurred as McBride’s car was struck by Vickers’ vehicle. Other crashes nearby included Marjorie E. Treadwell, 50, Hillsboro, going off the road on Route 180 then into a farm field, and Arthur C. Gorsuch, 72, McArthur, facing a traffic charge after a two-car collision at Main and Walnut Streets.
