Former County Farm Agent Harold Ruggles Dies at 47
Harold C. Ruggles 47, former Hocking County agricultural extension agent, died at his Wooster home from an apparent heart attack. A Monroeville native, he served in Hocking County from 1947 to 1962 after earlier roles in Fairfield and Erie counties, and in Wayne County the last seven years. He led the Ohio County Extension Agents Association and earlier taught vocational agriculture. He also served 242 years in the U. S. Navy.
