Three county high schools named their top graduates for 1960. Laurelville’s Karen Lee Stump earned first honor with a perfect 4.0 and plans Ohio University education study. Ruby Garrett was Laurelville’s second honor and salutatorian with 3.57. Murray City’s Curtiss Spencer led with 3.338 and Michael Mitchell was the Murray City salutatorian at 3.175. Union Furnace crowned Mary Kay Turner as first honor and valedictorian 3.23, with Georgia Williams second honor and salutatorian at 3.09.
