Wes Blosser longtime Hocking welfare aide dies at 64

Carl E. Doc Blosser 64 of 640 N Wood St died at 11 15 p m Friday at Hocking Valley Community Hospital after a two month illness. Born December 15 1911 in Union Furnace he was survived by his wife Jane Leach Blosser a stepson David Leach four grandchildren and three cousins. Funeral 2 PM Tuesday Leonard Lyke Funeral Home with Rev R W Faulkner officiating. Burial Oak Grove Cemetery. Masonic services 7 30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Friends may call Sunday Monday.

Air Fare Hikes Approved by CAB Across Domestic Routes

The Civil Aeronautics Board allows a 2 percent rise in all domestic air fares for two weeks and up to 10 percent on first class and promotional fares on North Atlantic routes to Europe. Concorde fares rise 20 percent over subsonic levels with Washington London and Washington Paris trips costing about 801 and 827 dollars this summer.
