Flood Victims Seek Red Cross Aid and Gas Service Restored

About 50 people including 35 Rockbridge residents and 15 Logan flood victims applied for Red Cross assistance on Saturday. The U S Army Corps of Engineers put flood damage in the Hocking River basin at 2 137 000 dollars, noting the Tom Jenkins Dam saved 272 000 in the basin. Gas service was restored to all homes in Logan's West End after 250 customers were affected. Elementary school in Rockbridge will reopen no sooner than Tuesday.
