Karl Schmitter, a 71 year old Logan man, is charged with second degree manslaughter after a head on collision on Rt. 33 near Enterprise that killed Mrs. Gertrude Bickel. Schmitter remains hospitalized at Hocking Valley Hospital as his condition improves and arraignment awaits his discharge. Sheriff Paul Hartman and Prosecuting Attorney Hubert Lappen led the case.
