Health Board Votes To Change Milk Law

Logan Hocking County health department moves to repeal the 1949 milk ordinance and adopt the 1953 code after Judge Meyer ruled the old regulations valid but in need of explicit meaning. Hope fades as miners trapped in coal mine rooms found empty

Logan West Virginia AP report says 18 trapped miners have left no signs in three refuge rooms. Rescue teams searched the honeycombed areas after a rock slide ignited timbers and fumes. one room was found empty Monday night and another this morning with no word on the third.
