The Central Ohio Council plans to double camping capacity with Camp A at Greenhills Scout Reservation four miles southeast of Logan. The 450 acre site will serve about 250 scouts and leaders, featuring three program buildings, a fan shaped pool, and a lake similar to Camp B. Split Highway Project Divides Rt. 33 Upgrade into Three
John Dowler announced acceleration of a 10 mile Rt. 33 widening from Rt. 180 to Haydenville bypass into three separate projects. The first will sell late summer or fall from Rt. 180 to 1,000 feet west of Rt. 93. A second half mile will cover the Rt. 93 interchange with design and right of way under way. Ninety six apply for Nelsonville jobs in four hour period

Two Logan Youths Hurt In Auto Crash
Two Logan youths were injured in a one car crash on Homer Ave West Logan at 855 p.m. Friday. Jeffrey E Schneider 17 of 1346 Church St driver suffered a cut lip and nose injury. Fred Schmidt 17 of 303 North St passenger suffered a forehead cut. Both were treated and released at Hocking Valley Hospital. The westbound car hit a hole, veered right, and struck a culvert. there was considerable damage to the auto. No citations.
