A Circleville woman escaped a blaze but her three children Wayne Fanning 3 Linda Fanning 4 and Kenneth Fanning 14 months died in a two story frame home fire four miles east of Circleville Ohio. Fire officials blamed a defective oil furnace as high winds hampered firefighting. Patricia 7 was at school and Arnold 35 the father was at work.

Two Women Injured In Auto Accident Near Lancaster
Mrs. Leroy Morton aged 36 and Mrs. Frances Morgan 29 both of Hamilton Ohio were injured seriously when their car left the road north of Lancaster and rolled over several times. Morton likely suffered fractures of the back and ribs and facial cuts while Morgan had a possible left leg fracture and severe bruising. They were taken to Lancaster City Hospital.

Lebaron 23 of Madison village were killed when their car was struck by a passenger train yesterday at a crossing in Painesville Ohio authorities said. The crash occurred on March 11 near Madison Township and the victims were identified by local officials. Police continue to investigate the accident and note the train had priority at the crossing.
