He fled with loot but was nabbed by Patrolman Lawrence Marinelli who fired twice one shot into the air and one into Hinkles right arm. He was captured 50 feet from the bank door and hospitalized with a shattered bone. The FBI links the techniques to a Harrison County bank robbery three years earlier.
