Jury Trial Opens in Coonville Shooting Case
The trial of Floyd Martin 52 of Nelsonville started in Hocking County Common Pleas Court for shooting with intent to wound Shirley Withrow 42 of New Plymouth. Witnesses testified to an accidental shooting during a days drinking at Martins trailer near Coonville while Martin and Withrow were “wind-jamming” with a .22 rifle.

Mulberry Street sewer cleared after years of floods

Sheriffs Return Two Suspects From Missouri
