Fraudulent Welfare Aid Leads to 30 Day Jail Term
Donald Dean Bauman of Laurelville pleaded guilty in Hocking County Court to falsifying welfare benefit applications. He received 30 days in county jail and a $200 fine plus costs, suspended pending restitution of $1,000 to the Hocking County Welfare Department through $100 monthly deductions over 10 months.
