Logan City approves pay raise and reshapes fire staff

Logan City Council approved a 15 cent immediate hourly pay raise for city employees plus a 10 cent increase Jan 1. It also restructured the fire department by abolishing the assistant fire chief position and adding a chief three lieutenants and three regular staff.

Logan student earns Manasseh Cutler Scholarship

Charles Richard Cummins of Logan receives Ohio University Manasseh Cutler Scholarship for 1977-78. The $450 merit award honors OU founder and supports a freshman history major who excelled in high school. Carter Plan For Higher Oil Taxes Moves Forward
