Four of Nine BIS Escapees Caught
LANCASTER Ohio June 5 Nine boys escaped from the Boys Industry School near the city during the evening recreation period. Four had been recaptured by noon Supt Harold L Hays told the state welfare department in Columbus. Identified are Carl Howard 14 Lester Barber 16 both of Cleveland and Robert Bushner 16 Raymond Lemons 15 both of Akron. Barber and Lemons were caught about five miles southwest of Lancaster by guards. The remaining five were still being sought by state highway patrol and Fairfield County officers.

Logan's Charles Coburn, Academy Award winner and veteran actor, will attend the Waltonians spring concert at Logan High School Friday night.
