Dick's Tavern Reopens Despite Sheriff Order

Price Appeals Removal From Highway Position
Ernest Price of 440 Vine Street former state highway superintendent in Hocking County appeals his removal from the department to the Hocking County Common Pleas Court. He contends the State Personnel Board’s decision is not supported by reliable substantial evidence. New Rt 33 664 Interchange Opens Ahead of Schedule
The four lane U S 33 and State Rt 664 interchange will open to traffic Thursday afternoon with partial acceptance by the Ohio Department of Highways. Contractor Eagle Construction Co. is completing a $675 845 project begun June 16 1970 after the dangerous original intersection.
