Homer Green was bitten on the left hand by a groundhog at Buck Run near Rockbridge on Saturday morning. Carl Daubenmier of Rockbridge choked the animal to death after it bit Green. Green received first aid and anti rabies treatment. The groundhog was used as a Sunday meal centerpiece at the Green home.

Ziegler Delays Start At Georgia 4-H Camp
Charles Ziegler spends the week in Logan before a five week session at Fort Fulton 4 H camp in College Park near Atlanta. He has just finished two weeks at Moorehead Kentucky and three weeks at Illinois camps. Now in his 12th year of this work, he notes the Georgia camp built with NYA and WPA support has cottages for 40, baths, and a 250 capacity with one representative from each of the 150 counties expected during the final week. He will leave for Atlanta Sunday.
