Delbert B. Spencer 53, of Kens County, was executed in Ohio State Penitentiary for the July 22 1946 shooting death of Mrs Pauline Bailey near Glouster. Gov Lausche and the Ohio Supreme Court had refused clemency. Spencer spent his last hours with family and the prison chaplain before the 8 02 p m execution.
