Services Slated Saturday For Cpl Timothy Hansley
Funeral services for Marine Lance Corporal Timothy Wharton Hansley 20 of Rockbridge will be held at 2 p m Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev Victor Kreutz and the Rev Paul Holtzen will officiate with burial in Fairview Cemetery near Rockbridge. Hansley was killed by enemy fire July 7 about five miles south of Da Nang Vietnam after enlisting Aug 5 1968 and serving in Vietnam since January. He was born Aug 24 1948 in Lancaster and was a noted athlete at Berne Union High School. He belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church 4 H and the Boys Scouts.
