Federal liquor agents Frederick C. Bianco and Joseph B. Lagemann testified they fired at Kenneth Robinson and his brother Wayne while near a still in California Hollow. They say they shot at the ground and did not know Kenneth was wounded. Kenneth, shot in the neck, fled to Fred McCabe’s home and was taken to Cherrington hospital. Wayne hid for over a day as Sheriff Farbearn investigated the scene.

A three alarm blaze at the Union Paper Stock Inc plant in Dayton Colorado yesterday injured four people including two firefighters. Gored farmer dies from June bull injuries

The moon, fully eclipsed by the earth, glowed copper colored last night and today in a record long celestial display. Washington reports Justice Department lawyers promised a prompt appeal to the Supreme Court of the Boston circuit court ruling on the constitutionality of processing taxes.
